In these times of Digital Manipulations, it is becoming rare to be able to find the "original", since the Target and the Source are completely integrating in each other. The reality, or the REAL, disappearing fast from our cultural life, leaving us with just infinite circulation of reproductions, simulations and copies of second and third degree, threatening to swallow the basic sense of difference.
Our perception of the world changing into an intense absorption of information, of shapes, color, sound and movement, spinning through virtual means of communication to each other and to IT, to the old materialistic object, which has been shadowed by its multiple replicants. I believe that this movement towards the final disappearance of the real will lead human culture into a new era.
At THAT moment, we all would be totally dependant upon our knowledge, the information that we collect, the "evidences" about the existence of things. Then, the right representation will be an advantage point to gain power from, to poses feelings and thought; because the world of infinite information is also the world of infinite disorientation.
I hope that if we'll all focus, artists and art lovers, on finding good channels of communication via creativity, then we could maintain our ability to catch the essence of Beauty, Wisdom and Hope.
